The GG-01 Clay Texture Wheel rolls raw, deep, and bold texture onto your thrown work. It doesn’t clog easily, so you can keep texturing without stopping to clean it. It’s just a wheel, so let it spin. If you want a new look, take the tool apart and put it back together with the wheels in a different orientation. By changing the spacing and order of the wheels, you can create a range of textures from a single set. It’s a simple way to get more variety from one pottery texture tool.
How To Use:
To use The Steve Tool 2, throw a straight cylinder, texture it with The Steve Tool 2 GG-01 Clay Texture Wheel, then stretch the clay from the inside. This technique gives you a textured surface similar to the sodium silicate technique without needing the silicate or blowtorch.
