SP-05 Small Paddle – Starburst

Description

SP Paddle blade is 12.5 cm x 11.5 cm (5 x 4.5 inches). SP paddles are beautifully carved, have unique designs, and release well from clay or any soft medium. MKM paddles are made from wood that is precision carved to make deep beautiful impressions. The SP is carved on one side, and flat on the second side.  It is an excellent paddle for paddling thrown pots and for rolling patterned coils. It can be helpful to have two paddles when rolling coils, one on the bottom and one on the top to avoid fingermarks. The paddles are finished with tung oil to ensure durability over many years of use. MKM paddles are easily cleaned with water and a soft toothbrush. The flat side edges are rounded, as are the handle edges.  This makes the paddle very comfortable in the hand while using.
